Sync reports a Missing Service Principle when attempting to acquire a Microsoft Access Token as shown in the screenshot:


This issue may present itself when attempting a Sync for the first time. The error may appear in the format:

Organization lacking a service principal for <service/app>

Acquiring Microsoft Access Token access_denied This page will close automatically.AADSTS650052:

The app is trying to access a service <service details> that your organization <organization details> lacks a service principal for. 

The issue is usually the result of an Application Programming Interface call to Microsoft.

Navigate to the Getting Started Wizard in the service portal.

Click on the "Check your tenant" feature.

Click the fix button.
